Volunteer Commitment

St. Albert Rams Lacrosse is a club that is operated solely by volunteers.  To ensure that all aspects of the organization are managed efficiently, every member is required to contribute to the club via volunteering.

Every Rams family is responsible for one volunteer shift per season per player.  A $500 charge (per family) will be applied to your account if you fail to complete your shift within the calendar year, fail to cancel without 48 hours notice, no show or if you cancel two shifts you have committed to.

If a family chooses to complete more than the required one per player, the extra shift will apply a credit towards the next year registration.

Bingo Shifts : Please check this link for the latest bingo shifts, as they get added.

There are morning shifts and afternoon shifts available Each shift requires two volunteers. Please arrive 15 mins prior to shift start time or volunteer will be considered a no show.

Shifts vary in length. Volunteers will be required to hand out designated jerseys and receive the returned jerseys to be hung up. Please arrive in a timely manner to achieve a smooth transition with the outgoing volunteer.

The St. Albert Rams host a Tournament (Baggataway) every year. Volunteers are required to help as Set Up, 50/50 Sales, Raffle Table, Host Table, Venue Coordinator, or as General tournament assistance through out, under the Tournament Director. A tournament committee of five persons will be stood up once evaluations have concluded. Persons wanting to be involved in the coordination, please reach out to the Tournament Director or click Here.

The GELC Wind UP position covers assisting as required to ensure the event runs smoothly, as directed by the GELC tournament organizer.

Casino Shifts will be available by following the link. Shift length will vary depending on position. Please arrive 15 mins prior to volunteer shift.
